I had just woken up I said. I lunged out of bed "mmmmmmmm pancakes" "No pancake mix" mum said

"OH NO THE CAR"
"Never mind dear go to that little girls grandma"
I had just got onto the path when a little girl stuffed cupcakes in her mouth ill tell your grandma (3 minutes later)

My Reflection:

We had the taster lunch for world peace day.

the food tasted good my advice would be to maybe to make sure to name what ingredients are in the food.

A golden morning

the boat turned as we came up on the green pole and turned fast like a jack rabbit running wild for carrots.FWOOSH we were faster than a speeding bullet we shot the eight down the river turned around the pole and shot down to the finish line .

f1: did you know over 5000 kauri trees have been killed already

f2:how to stop it:is whenever you go into a kauri infested forest clean your shoes equipment and boots

f3:the soil is infected thats how it spreads on boots equipment and shoes

f4:composting does not remove the disease but it kills weeds that carry it

f5:kauri has been protected for a loooooooong time

I was learning to write a persuasive poster

I used : a retorical question. Paragraphs/Sub headings

a good use of a picture/ pictures

I also described the good things and benefits

using exaggerated adjectives and adverbs.

 not too much detail but enough to sell camp and bold eye catching words and words.

I need to work on using bossy verbs and maybe write a slogan next time.

Mathletics

I have been learning how to order fractions . I know that 5/6 is bigger than 1/2 because 1/2 is equal to 3/6 and this is smaller than 5/6 . My goal is to know ninths and sevenths by the end of the term.

I was learning to do Rangitoto art using multiple paint skills. I did stipple, then I did drag, then sponge and then card print. I had to start with the dark colours and get lighter. I found it easy to do the card print but I need to work on my stipple.

I liked this activity because it is like summarising news!. I had to read a news item on Kiwi Kid news. Im proud because I tried hard not to say the wrong sentences. I need to work on just using the important pieces of information and not adding my opinion.

My Reflection

This was my maths work. I was learning about different strategies to add 2 numbers. I am good at the place value strategy because I am good at splitting numbers. I need to work on rounding and compensating. My teacher can help me with this.

I am proud of myself because I overcame my fear of heights . I liked the body boarding and surf kayaking . I disliked the tree climb.

Rock Climb Kid

My Reflection

I really enjoyed rock climbing because I got to overcome my fear of heights. I found it difficult to get my legs and hands to reach the grips. Next time I would like to work on more difficult climbs.

My Kenning's poem

I was learning to write a Kennings poem
I am proud of my poem because I put in the time and worked hard.I think I could had done more sentences. I think the next time I could improve on my number of lines and use different words.
